Morgan Cheetham is a small company specialising in laminate bent wood furniture. Laminating cross-grained timber layers creates a strong and lightweight curve, which does not shrink, expand or warp. When laminating in tension - strapping and clamping glued laminates around a curve - only a male former is required. The clamping process is done in stages to achieve complex manipulation of large laminates of timber. This process reduces tooling costs, allowing a flexible and experimental approach to furniture making.

By making laminated furniture in small batches we are able to continuously develop our range of furniture and production techniques. We believe furniture design should be playful whilst maintaining a high quality handmade finish.
